A trip on horseback is one of the most enjoyable and easiest ways to experience nature around Pucon. We leave the stables at Pucon and ride in the direction of the hills above Pucon. After about an hour's riding, part of which is in forest and the rest in open spaces we arrive at a meadow which affords a wonderful vantage point. We rest here and enjoy the breathtaking view.
Afterwards we continue to a canyon with a waterfall at the bottom. We hitch up the horses and descend into the canyon on foot by a steep path to the "hidden waterfall", which is called this because it is only visible from close up. The braver members of the group can swim in the pool at the bottom of the fall. We climb back up the path to the horses and ride back to Pucon.
The length of the trip is three hours. It's possible to conduct the trip at any time provided you arrange it through the office.
